Borgman Capital Promotes Matt Kiefer to Managing Director, Real Estate Investments
MILWAUKEE – (APRIL 7, 2026) – Borgman Capital is pleased to announce the promotion of Matt Kiefer to Managing Director, Real Estate Investments. Kiefer joined the firm as Director, Real Estate Investments in 2020 and founded its real estate practice, which through his leadership has since grown into a core component of the firm’s broader strategy.

Kiefer has over 16 years of commercial real estate experience, having completed more than 3.5 million square feet of transactions across industrial, multifamily, retail, and office assets. He also brings a diverse background in strategy, operations, engineering, data analytics, technology, finance and marketing. He spent a decade as a management consultant and strategic marketer, including more than five years at West Monroe Partners. His management consulting experience brings a unique perspective to real estate, with a strong understanding of the operational needs and priorities of business owners that drives a partnership-oriented approach. Kiefer earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from Purdue University and an MBA from Marquette University.
